Welcome to the Official Tri-M Website for the 2007-2008 Tri-M Chapter! Ward Melville's Music Honor Society has made attempts in the past to bring the club online, but with limited success. Here's why this year will be different:

• This website is hosted on an independent server, which also hosts http://www.ihomeroom.com/. This means the server will experience extremely little downtime, if any at all. The address is also a lot simpler to remember ("http://trim.ihomeroom.com/" instead of more obscure angelfire or blogspot website addresses). The site will also be shortly reachable through Google (now it is).
  
• This website uses the Blogger engine for the primary delivery of content. This makes posting information fast and easy for anybody. Very likely, all Tri-M officers will be given the privilege to post on this website, meaning information need not come from the webmaster alone.
• This website makes use of the latest Web 2.0 technologies. You can subscribe to an Atom feed of this website (see sidebar) to automatically get updates. Also, this site hosts an interactive calendar (which can additionally be posted to by multiple contributors), and you can receive updates from this calendar as well (you can even have a text message reminder sent to your cell phone to tell you about events coming up soon you might have forgotten about. Pretty shnazzy, eh?)
• You can post comments regarding any post, with or without a Google account.
